As per the reports on the internet Solaris 11 was earlier reportedly palnned to be release by mid 2010.
While now its all with Oracle ( After the take over ) and its oracle who will decide when Solaris 11 will be out.
While Oracle has been clear to Sun's employees that it will keep Sun's hardware business going, that doesn't mean schedules and priorities won't shift. So until this deal is done - or undone - it is hard to say when any Sun product, be it hardware or software, will appear.
